Thank you for your interest in the services of Coanea GmbH ("we", "us"). In the course of our business activities, we process personal data. We do this in accordance with the applicable law (see Section 5) and this Privacy Notice.

"personal data" means any information that identifies, or could reasonably be used to identify (directly or indirectly) any person.

"services" means all services and products of Coanea GmbH, including our website www.coanea.com.

2) Which Data

We process personal data primarily in connection with the use of our website coanea.com, the procurement of our services and products, other contractual relationships, and related communication, to provide our Services. This includes for example:

Technical data: IP addresses, browser type etc. when accessing our website

Registration data: account creation, newsletter subscription, if applicable

Communication data: e-mail, telephone, chat, video conferencing etc.

Basic data: data required for the provision of our services and other business relationships or for marketing and advertising

Contract data: data required for contract initiation, conclusion, and execution

Much of the personal data we process is provided directly by you (e.g. through forms, contract execution, website use), but certain technical data is inevitably processed automatically when you visit our website. In addition, and insofar as this is permissible, personal data may be obtained from third party sources, such as social media platforms, public authorities and from contractual partners, to the extend necessary or appropriate and in connection with our Services.

We primarily process personal data to offer, process and ensure our Services professionally, and to comply with legal obligations. Related processing purposes include:

5) Legal Grounds

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law, in particular, the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the Ordinance on Data Protection (DPA) and, where applicable, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR) Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a. (consent) lit. c. (legal obligation) - lit. f. (legitimate interest) DSGVO.

If the processing purposes require explicit consent (e.g., newsletter), personal data processing is only based on legally obtained consent, which can be revoked at any time for the future by sending an email to data@coanea.com or, if applicable, by unsubscribing from the respective service via the online link.

6) Data Transfer

In connection with the provision of our services, our legal obligations, the protection of our legitimate interests and the purposes set out in Section 4, personal data can and must in some cases also be transferred and processed by third parties such as service providers (see e.g. hosting provider WIX Section 11), business partners, authorities and payment providers. These third parties may in turn involve other third parties for the fulfilment of their contractual obligations making personal data accessible to them.

7) Data Processing Location

Personal data may be processed in Switzerland, Europe, or other countries worldwide. If these countries do not provide adequate data protection, we will only transfer personal data if data protection is ensured by other means, such as standard data protection clauses, other appropriate guarantees, explicit consent, or legal exceptions.

8) Data Storage & Data Security

Personal data will be deleted as soon as the purposes described in this Privacy Notice have been achieved, legal requirements and our legitimate interests permit, and deletion is technically feasible and not disproportionately complex (e.g., back-up copies).

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security proportionate to the respective risk involved (e.g. firewalls, password protection, SSL encryption). However, absolute data security cannot be guaranteed by us or our hosting provider (wix.com).

9) Data Subject Rights

In accordance with the applicable data protection law, you may assert various rights in connection with your personal data, such as the right to access (information what kind of personal data we process), rectification and erasure, right to restriction of processing or to object to certain data processing such as for example direct marketing, right to receive or have certain data transferred  and right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Switzerland: Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner). Please always contact us first according to Section 10. Note that certain rights may be subject to requirements, exceptions, or limitations, and therefore some requests may be legally denied or only partially satisfied.
